How It Works

1
Reserve Your Trailer

A $250 refundable deposit is collected when you book your trailer.

2
Fill the Trailer

Load the trailer with your junk, yard waste, or construction debris.

3
We Handle the Dump Run

After pickup, we transport the trailer to the landfill where your load is weighed. The landfill charges by weight, not by how full the trailer looks.

4
We Refund the Remaining Balance

We deduct the actual landfill disposal fee from your deposit and refund the remaining balance to your original payment method.

Why Dump Fees Vary

Many people assume landfill fees are based on trailer size. They’re not.
Landfills charge by weight.
Two trailers that look exactly the same can have very different disposal costs.

ⓘ  We primarily use the Pinellas County transfer station, currently charging approximately $58 per ton (2,000 lbs) as of June 2026. Rates are subject to change.

Surprisingly Light vs. Surprisingly Heavy

✓ Surprisingly Light

  • Mattresses
  • Sofas
  • Cardboard
  • Plastic toys
  • Empty cabinets
  • Furniture

⚠ Surprisingly Heavy

  • Dirt
  • Concrete
  • Brick
  • Tile
  • Asphalt shingles
  • Wet carpet
  • Wet lumber
  • Books
Even a small amount of heavy material can weigh more than an entire trailer full of household furniture.

⚠️ Heavy Material Notice

Materials such as:

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is there a $250 deposit?

The deposit covers the landfill disposal fee after your rental. Once we receive the landfill scale ticket, we deduct the actual disposal cost and refund the remaining balance. In an unlikely event that dump fee exceeds the deposit, we’ll collect the difference separately.

When do I receive my refund?

We process refunds immediately after the landfill disposal fee is finalized. Most banks post the refund within 3–5 business days.

Can you tell me exactly what my dump fee will be?

Not before the trailer is weighed. The estimator uses typical material weights to provide a realistic range, but the landfill determines the final charge using the actual weight of your load.

Why does dirt cost more than furniture?

Landfills charge by weight. A trailer full of furniture is mostly air. A small pile of dirt, concrete, or brick can weigh several thousand pounds.

Can I fill the trailer completely with dirt or concrete?

No. Heavy materials often reach the trailer’s maximum weight limit before the trailer is full. Contact us before loading heavy materials.
